More About Super Scat

Super Scat is one version of the traditional card game Scat. The game is played with 52 cards and 2 to 7 players, although 4 or more players is usually preferred. Players 2-7 will be played by the computer.
Each player is dealt three cards and three cards are dealt face open in the playing area. The players each take turns and can swap one of their cards with one from the playing area, thus trying to get a good combination. The value of a hand is calculated by adding the value of cards of the same suit. Additionally three equal cards give a score of 30½
A round ends when one of the players has scat or one of the players passes, or swaps his cards with the cards in the playing area, after which each other player gets one more turn.
The objective of the game is to make sure that at the end of a round you do not end up with the lowest score, or even better you manage to get scat. The player with the lowest score loses the round and has to give up a coin. When a player has no more coins and loses another round he is out. The last player that is still in the game is the winner.
Super Scat allows you to customise your game to your own personal preferences, including playing cards face open.
